Nursery Pumpkin Cupcake Fun!
This week at Myatt Garden Primary School, our Nursery class had a wonderful time making pumpkin cupcakes! Not only did we enjoy baking something tasty, but we also learned so much along the way.
We started by discovering how pumpkins grow—from tiny seeds to big, round pumpkins ready for harvest. It was fascinating to learn about how they thrive in the soil and sunlight.
In the kitchen, we practiced being safe while cooking. We learned the correct way to handle knives and other tools, ensuring everyone stayed safe and had fun. Working together as a team, we followed instructions step by step, helping each other along the way.
Making the cupcakes was also a great way to develop our motor skills, like scooping, stirring, and pouring, all while enjoying the squishy texture of the pumpkin!
And the best part? Tasting the delicious cupcakes we made together. They were absolutely scrumptious!
Well done, Nursery— it was a day full of learning, teamwork, and sweet treats! 🍂✨
Stay tuned for more exciting adventures in Nursery!
